BIG celebrations for a big birthday!
Michelle Obama had an AH-Mazing time with about 500 peeps at her 50th birthday bash in the White House's East Room on Saturday night!
FLOTUS watched as Beyoncé took the stage to get the party started, singing nearly half-a-dozen of her mega-hits to the crowded room!
Sasha and Malia Obama were there too, bouncing along to Bey's jams!
"It was just an incredible party, chock-full of celebrities. [Michelle] was enthralled. You could tell she had a lot of fun."
Along with Queen Bey, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Jennifer Hudson, Paul McCartney, and top White House officials were just a few of the big names that gathered to celebrate the First Lady's birthday!
Partygoers munched on mini crab cakes, fried oysters, roast beef sliders and champagne to keep the fun event going until the early hours of the morning!
President Obama's lady capped her night off with two lovely renditions of "Happy Birthday" sang by John Legend, and a special speech made by her presidential hubby!
One guest explained POTUS' kind words:
" a moving tribute to his wife, recounting the first time he laid eyes on her, how he was soaking wet and had on bad shoes but she didn't hold it against him. He thanked her for being patient with him. You could tell he had married his best friend."
Aww!
What an incredible evening for such a special woman!
